How many kids have went to D1 schools from the LPD?

I know of the Jones brothers, Josh Warren, Travis Turner, Todd Hamilton, Johnson kid from Powell Valley (Airforce Acc) Boo Sensibaugh (miss spelled), and Carol Dale. Thats all I can think of off top of my head. Ofcourse this is just football, if you know of kids going in other sports let me know. Sheldon Adams went to VT in baseball is the only non football D1 athelete I can think of.

Brad Robbins started his college career at Western Carolina, a D1 school.

James Bolling from PV started at fullback for Kentucky.
Todd Meade from PV played at VT
Dean Herman of Kelly was special teams captain on Clemson's national title team.
One of the Davis brothers from Appy (Paul?) started at nose guard at North Carolina on the same defense as LT - also played a little pro ball
    Tom Turner at VT
Pound had a lineman in the early-mid 70's who played D1 but I can't recall his name.
Clintwood had a lineman mid 80's, tall kid, played D1, maybe at Wake - surely Lung or Counts or someone can recall.
Mark Bloomer PV - VT (not sure if he saw much PT)
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Eupton Jackson started at JMU
    Todd Bloomer at ETSU
    Keith Davis at ETSU
    Art Jackson at Norfork St
    Adrian Legg at Norfork St
Running back from the 91 Coeburn team at Austin Peay (can't recall name right now)
Doug Mullins from Pound at Richmonmd

There are dozens more, maybe when my mind is working better I will recall some more.

You're probably thinking David Talley. He played at ETSU. I think he might have had some D1 offers, but he went to ETSU to be closer to his family. He blew his knee out his first year there.

no, he's probably talkin' about "Big" Steve Fleming...Clintwood lineman early-mid 80's. went to Wake Forest. also, off Clintwood's 1975 state champ team, three players went D1...RB Johnny McFall went to Virginia Tech (later transferred to ETSU), DB D.R. Mullins went to North Carolina, and OL/DL Yogi Mooney went to N.C. State. three D1's from one team...don't think that's happened since in the LPD.

a fun fact...the year those boys were deciding on their schools, Lou Holtz was the the guest speaker at Clintwood's athletic banquet. he was head coach at N.C. State at the time.

Clisso and Mark Neely from Burton at ETSU
Kevin Mitchell and Mckinney from PV at VMI, I think Huff from Appy was there for a while too.
Didn't one of the Murphy kids play at UK?
    Their dad Pat did (PV)

Don't know then. Counts is 4-5 years older than me. Might be one he remembers.
